El recorridoThe journey constituted 50 legs of more than 7,300 km of which 3,500 km was done on foot, 1600 km on skis, 300 km on horseback, in rowing boats and on bicycles, and 1900 by various mechanical means (aeroplane, helicopter, car).

DetallesCaption: ”Xe Jeux Olympiques d’Hiver Grenoble 1968”. The handle is partly covered with a piece of cloth, and the bowl is narrow with a milled upper part.

Two different torches were used. 33 torches were necessary for the national journey of the torch.
The torches are made of sheet copper with a protective cover.
